Your first visit
From the front door to the plan you leave with
A first visit is about an hour, and Otis is with you for all of it.
What to wear
Clothes you can move in, and shoes you can walk in. If your problem is a shoulder, wear a top that lets you reach it. If it is a knee, wear shorts.
What to bring
Your plan card, a photo ID, and any paperwork or imaging from your doctor or surgeon. A list of your medicines, if you have one.
What happens
Otis asks about your week, watches you move and examines the area. He tells you what he finds, what the options are and the risks, and you agree on a plan.
What is not decided on day one
How many visits you will need. We do not promise that. If something needs a physician first, Otis says so and tells you why.
A room, a table and time to talk
The first visit is mostly conversation and watching you move. Hands-on care and exercise start when you and Otis agree on them. If you would like someone with you, bring them.
Arrive a few minutes early to sign in
